About Erinn Maxwell
Erinn Maxwell has a fondness for sweeping romances, fascinating history, and characters who fall in love when they least expect it. Her stories might take readers to a centuries-old Scottish estate or a medieval dinner theater in Los Angeles, but one thing remains the same: she's always rooting for the happily ever after.
Her debut novel, Of Heather and Thistle, began as a love letter to Scotland and grew into the Glenoran Series, a world of family secrets, hidden treasures, and romance set against the breathtaking Scottish Highlands. Its sequel, Of Fate and Fortune, continues the story, weaving together love, legacy, and the enduring influence of the past.
Now, Erinn is expanding her fictional horizons with The Knight Shift, an adult contemporary romantic comedy about a struggling Hollywood actress, a Wyoming cowboy, and a medieval dinner theater where falling in love is definitely not in the job description. The manuscript is currently being polished for literary agent submissions as she pursues her goal of traditional publication.
Beyond her novels, Erinn is the creator and host of Dead Plot Society: A Novelist's Footnotes, a podcast exploring history's most fascinating, scandalous, and occasionally ridiculous stories through the eyes of a novelist.
When she isn't writing, she's chasing her two daughters, collecting antiques, researching obscure historical scandals, or finding increasingly creative ways to justify another trip to Scotland.
She lives in Northern California with her husband, their two daughters, and far too many books.
